Local Information
The cottage is found roughly 2 miles north of the A9 near to Brora which is close by to Inverness and John O groats is not far also.
Surrounded by lush green farmland and it has a view of the mountains and of the sea, this is an authentic highland cottage and perfect for the out door adventurer.
Close by you have the Brora Harbour and Brora Beach which is long and very isolated you can go for long walks along this beach. Mountain bike trails, off road trails, walking the heights of the Wildcat Mountains and view the fantastic scenery around. All within several miles of the cottage.
There is a local tourist centre which has all the information you need to know which places to visit, there is also information on bike trails and hill walks.
Golspie is a small village nearby but it has one of the best castles in Scotland,
very much a must see for all who stay at the cottage.
